He became resident at Radio X "X-Fade DJ-Night" - where he used to play once a month for several years. He started his studies in journalism, but he maintained an interest in electronic music and moved to the musical melting-pot par excellence - Berlin. In order to finish his studies the moved back to Frankfurt in 2004. There, he continued making tracks and developing his own sound, oscillating between minimal and non-minimal, between house and techno. He put out some netlabel-releases on Pentagonik and participated in several co-operations: Together with Todd Bodine he produced tracks for Tom Clark's Highgrade Records. He also created some remixes with George Spruce for his Label Senator Records. After finishing his studies, he started working as an online-journalist and created his own studio in Offenbach's most historically-charged area; right around the corner from the Robert Johnson Club and the Neuton office (the Playhouse headquarter used to be immediate neighbour). The studio is located in the same building where SNAP's "The Power" was recorded back in the day. Ludwig immersed himself in extremely fertile musical history, the result of which has earned him quick success in the vibrant electronic music scene of today. |
