Hi there!! Highgrade returns once more to fullfill all your x-mas wishes, just like we can. This time it's Mr. Highgrade itself, Tom Clark,
who reminds us about the state of art in abstract clubhouse. Besides him giving it in the clubs, tom has the time to produce cutting-edge
records like this one, not giving a f..k about commercial strategies or whatever, it's just the music, and pushing it further, what really
counts. And man(!) this ep, pushes real good. Deep, experimental, hypnotic house with that very special minimal feeling. Four trax - everyone
a smash of it's own, but with elements that occure in all of them, wich makes this ep kind of a so called concept ep. It's all about subtility
and deepness packed onto a housy matrix and blasting it into the rhythmzone. "Star corp"(a1) works like a hypnotic mover with that
slightly trance-feel, while "seeing is believing" (a2) has that surealistic atmo, with really strange noises and loops on it while
the title tracks, "circlemaker" - tribe mix (b2) (a real UPLIFT!!) and "circlemaker" - original mix (b2) just take you
into final house heaven. The original mix for is a really abstract chicago mover, combining minimal moods 'n' grooves of now with tricky
windy-city beats and unbelievable basslines. Another bass-driven, mad hybrid from Highgrade for those who care, so catch it while you can!

Hallo Freunde! Highgrade meldet sich zurück mit einer neuen EP vom Chef persönlich - Tom Clark. Tom entführt uns auf seiner
neuen EP in das Reich der modernen Hypnose: Vier Tracks, angesiedelt im Minimalhousekosmos, jeder Track ein Smash für sich, obwohl sie
auch (und vor allem) als eine Einheit funktionieren. "Circlemaker" lotet subtil die grenzen minimaler Houseästhetik aus: mal
hypnotisch und trancy ("Star cop" a1), dann verdreht experimentell im Dan Bell meets Berlin-style ("Seeing is believing" a
2), um uns bei den beide Mixen des Titeltracks ("Circlemaker" rmx 1. b1, originalmix b2) direkt in den abstrakten Househimmel zu
schießen. Sowohl Toolfanatics als auch Liebhaber minimaler, deeper Housemusik werden an diesen bassigen, schrägen Trax nicht
vorbeikommen.
