Another tight 4 track split 12" proving once again the incredible amount of talent unified under the label's banner. With
a wobbly, sleazy and slightly dark electro boggie Soopa-Fi - one of Highgrade's main crews - pave the way for Magnetic Base who pours the pure
essence of dub, experimental disco and punk a la late Clash into his stripped down tech-funker sounding like a 2003 update of early 80's
disco-punk innovator such as James White. Dan Drastic's dense yet finely structured layers of percussion, handclaps, ultra-precise and funky
beat cut-ups with steppin' synth chords ressembles a aerodynamic version of the westcoast house sound with a dash Berlin electro. Closing the
circle is Todd Bodine droping some liquid percussive funk like chinese watertorture on your head and sending shockwaves through your body with
jacking chords.
