It hasn't been long time ago since the last coup made by Clark and Schatz hit the streets but Highgrade's head-honcho Tom Clark and the true
Berlin talent Markus Schatz allready go for the next round. The original version of "Hot Choc" makes the start - playfully swinging,
the track developes itself into a masterpiece of an easy going groove without being half bad. The French DJ and producer Tom Pooks - well
known for this productions on Ovum, Kompakt and other wellsounding imprints gives "Hot Choc" a whole lot of jacking energy to take
along. He sets the percussive elements free - and rightly so! Punch meets hypnotic deepness - perfect! With the Hot Choc re-edit on the
flipside by Markus Schatz he eventually letting the cat out of the bag. Without any detours and in best Daniel Bell-like mannour he jump into
a real inferno made of funky bleeps and weird sounds. Delivering with this one more than just another highlight on this release - because
last but least it's the best evidence: you gotta reckon with these two!

Der letzte Streich aus dem Hause Clark and Schatz ist noch gar nicht lange her und schon steht die nächste EP von Highgrade-Labelchef Tom Clark
und dem Berliner Markus Schatz ins Haus. "Hot Choc" im Original Mix macht locker leicht den Anfang - verspielt swingend, entwickelt
sich ein perfekter Groover: unaufdringlich, aber mit Nachdruck. Easy going und trotzdem nicht ohne. Der Franzose Tom Pooks, bekannt durch seine
Produktionen auf Ovum, Kompakt und vielen anderen Namenhaften Adressen gibt seinerseits dem Track eine satte Portion jackende Energie mit auf
den Weg und lässt den perkussiven Elementen freien Lauf bis es kein Halten mehr gibt. Wenn Drive und Deepness sich so elegant guten Tag
sagen, wer kann da schon widerstehen? Abgerundet wird die EP von einem Re-Edit von Markus Schatz der die Katze noch mal richtig aus dem Sack
lässt : Ohne Umwege stuürzt er sich in bester Daniel Bell-Manier in ein Inferno aus Bleeps und weirden Sounds, da bleiben keine
Fragen offen. Mehr als ein gelungenes Highlight auf diesem Release und vor allem der beste Beweis: mit diesem Duo muss man rechnen.
